Employee Portal Menu Items for Form 1095-C

Part of the process on giving employees access to Form 1095-C (See Giving Employees Access to Form 1095-C).

You can use the global or client-level "ESS Default Menu Builder" to add the Early 1095-C and 1095-C tiles to the Employee Portal (EP) menus of your clients.

These tiles serve two different roles:

The Early 1095-C tile lets employees choose to receive their Form 1095-C electronically.
The 1095-C tile lets employees see their Form 1095-C in EP for the years specified in the Client Details > Benefits tab.

To add 1095-C tiles to client Employee Portal (EP) menus:

1. Open the appropriate form:
Global: Open System Parameters from the Back Office menu (under System|Change) and select ESS Default Menu Builder from the Actions menu .
Client: Open Client|Change > Client Details and select ESS Menu Builder from the Actions menu .
2. Expand the menu header where you want to place the item. (If you want to create a new menu header, click New Menu Header and fill out the form).
3. Drag Early 1095-C to the menu and place it where you want it to display in the menu.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 for 1095-C.
5. Click Save.
